Stiven Vunić is an exceptionally talented chef and the owner of the highly successful restaurant Zijavica in Mošćenička Draga. Zijavica is one of those rare restaurants you can confidently recommend to anyone looking for imaginatively prepared local seafood at a reasonable price. Stiven hails from an old Kvarner family of scampi fishermen who would not forgive him for taking their daily catch lightly, thus he approaches his ingredients with great care and responsibility. Zijavica is deeply rooted in the region's traditions, which they love to reinterpret. However, for further strides, they also desperately need a much stronger, local, traditional agriculture from Liburnia and Kvarner, which will also be mentioned at the panel.
