Chef Paul Ivić was born in Austria, but never fails to mention his Croatian roots. He comes from a family of chefs and although as a child he did not think about a career in the culinary arts, today he is known as a top chef and owner of two vegetarian restaurants: Tian in Vienna and Tian in Munich. Fine dining with a vegetarian menu is extremely popular and the world's biggest culinary stars have increasingly turned their talents and focus to it. Given that there are so few Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurants in the world, Chef Ivić can proudly boast that his two restaurants are among them. His approach to cuisine and the culinary arts are guided by the idea that chefs are responsible for educating people about healthy eating and how food affects all of us.
