Participant introduction

Ida Čarnohorski

Graduated engineer of biology, project and program manager
Non-profit organization CeliVita-Living with celiac disease
When celiac disease entered her family nearly 14 years ago, food, specifically gluten-free food (as the only treatment for celiac disease), became her focus and daily routine. Through a series of projects and initiatives, she found solutions together with other members of the CeliVita team that make life easier on a strict gluten-free diet, and the transfer of knowledge and experience related to the principles of gluten-free nutrition and the preparation of gluten-free food became part of her job. A special focus of her work is on creating an inclusive society, a society that enables a normal life for those who are different, even if they are different only by their diet. The opportunity to speak about this topic at this year's WFF is a step closer to achieving that goal.
