David Skoko

David Skoko began his career in the family tavern Batelina, where he prepared exquisite fish specialties with a focus on maximizing fish utilization. Today, Skoko is a true benevolent spirit of the Croatian gastronomic scene, generously sharing his knowledge and investing much time in the education of both the hospitality and the school sectors. He is a strong advocate for the consumption of oily fish, using interesting and creative recipes to highlight the importance and beauty of enjoying seafood for both children and adults. Skoko conducts numerous educational programs in schools and kindergartens, is the main proponent of the Aminess Wine Gourmet Nights project, and develops educational programs within the Aminess hotel group system. Moreover, he is known for numerous culinary shows such as 24 Kitchen and hosting Gordon Ramsay, which promotes him as an important promoter of Croatia as a tourist destination. One of his more notable projects was the wonderful travel series "Motor, Grapevine, Spoon," which was aired on Croatian National Television (HRT).
