A good waiter must simultaneously be a psychologist and a salesman, friendly like a friend and distant like a stranger.

A waiter is not just someone who brings and takes away food and drinks, and charges for them after the job is done. A good waiter knows how to balance between guests’ desires and the feasibility of fulfilling those desires. In short, a waiter should have the status of a magician. However, the dignity of this profession has been compromised. At the panel “His Majesty the Waiter,” we will discuss the actual situation in the market, the return of trust in the profession, and the experiences of people who have been in the scene for decades.
