Vesna Miletić ventured into the culinary waters in the mid-1980s by opening her first restaurant in Opatija. A decade after its opening, Vesna Miletić, along with her husband Tihomir, opened the now very famous restaurant Tač. The concept of the restaurant is quite simple, but challenging in execution, as anyone obsessed with the best local ingredients, from fish sourced from trusted fishermen to vegetables Vesna grows in her organic garden, will tell you. Restaurant Tač is one of the most beautiful Zagreb stories dedicated to Croatian gastronomic tradition. Due to her approach to cuisine, Vesna Miletić won the Gault&Millau Croatia Trophy for traditional cuisine chef in 2019, and the restaurant has been recognized in many guides such as Gault Millau and Michelin, as well as the selection of Good Restaurants.
