After completing her studies in "Gastronomy" at Aspira High School, Katarina Vrenc seriously delved into the culinary world, working in the iconic restaurants Plavi Podrum and Esplanade's Zinfandel’s. She is best known to the public for her highly original cooking at the Zagreb restaurant Sopal. If you were to ask Katarina to define the concept of the restaurant, it would be "funky elegance." Sopal is a place where people come to enjoy interesting dishes and natural wines in a very relaxed atmosphere. She was once named Talent of the Year by the culinary guide "Gault & Millau Croatia."
