The director of Kodila d.o.o. since 2000, he transformed a family business, Mesarstvo Kodila, merging it with Kodila Trade into a unified enterprise. Between 1990 and 2000, as the director of Kodila Trade d.o.o., he specialized in the wholesale of food products, importing from Europe and Asia to Slovenia. He is recognized for holding certificates for four protected products, including Prekmurska šunka and Prekmurska gibanica, and is a founding member and current president of the Society for the Promotion and Protection of Prekmurje Delicacies. In 2006, he founded the Granar development cooperative and the collective brand Diši po Prekmurju, promoting local food producers. His entrepreneurial journey includes significant investment projects like a culinary experience center, opening the Meet meat eat restaurant in 2017, and achieving the first export of Slovenian meat to Japan in 2020. He has been honored with multiple awards, including being named the Slovenian Craftsman of the Year in 2014 and receiving recognition from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for outstanding economic achievements in 2013.
