Andrija Čolak studied Marketing Management at BCIT and Douglas College in British Columbia, Canada. He is an entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience. In Croatia, many of the projects he started on his own have experienced international success. Čolak is the founder of the Surf'n'Fries brand, which has expanded its franchise to over 20 countries around the world and is now the biggest franchise F&B success in this region. In 2015, he won the NextGen award from the world's largest franchise association IFA (International Franchise Association) for the best young franchise manager under 35 years of age. For the last 13 years he has been part of the franchise industry internationally, and for the last 4 years he has been working as the CEO of CFCG (Colak Franchise Consulting Group), currently the leading franchise consulting company in Croatia and the region. Through CFCG, he has designed over 30 franchise business models for domestic brands and participates in the brokerage process for international brands entering the Balkan market.
