Paris instructed the participants on the correct procedure for wine tasting. “It is crucial to follow all the steps. First we turn the glass and watch the legs of the wine fall down the walls of the glass in order to observe the alcohol and sugar content of the wine. Next, bring the glass closer, then move it away and swirl it to give the wine air and bring it closer again. Only after we smell the wine can we finally taste it. We taste a small amount that we keep in the oral cavity, and after swallowing, we must exhale through the nose,” explained Paris.
