JP McMahon is a chef, restaurateur, and writer. He is the owner and culinary director of Aniar, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the Spanish restaurant Cava Bodega. He also runs the Aniar Boutique Cooking School. In 2022, JP launched JP McMahon Culinary Consulting and works both domestically and internationally.
JP advocates for the educational and ethical aspects of food and is a strong proponent of using local ingredients. He is the organizer of the interesting European event - Food on the Edge. Additionally, JP is the author of numerous publications and theatrical plays, a regular radio contributor, and a mentor on the RTE Series culinary show Taste of Success.
