Igor Županić is an experienced marketer with over 20 years of experience. He served as Marketing Director at Maraska, a job that sparked his passion for Maraschino and led to his permanent move to Zadar. Since then, he has dedicated himself to researching the history of alcoholic beverages in the Dalmatian region. He is the editor of two monographs on the history of Maraschino and a collector of items related to the history of Maraschino. In the last few years, he has been working as an expert associate at Maraska, actively contributing to the resurgence of Maraschino. With a WSET 2 in Spirits diploma, Igor represents a bridge between the rich heritage and a modern approach to the world of liqueurs.
