Emil currently holds the position of F&B manager at Plava Laguna. He has been working as a sommelier since 2006. He is a long-time member of the Croatian Sommelier Club and commissioner for Istria. In his career, he worked in numerous prestigious restaurants and hotels (Valsbbion, Zigante, Monte Mulini). He briefly competed in the championships for sommeliers in 2003-2005 and was twice the champion of Croatia and once runner-up and twice represented Croatia at the European Championship. Later, he devoted a large part of his career to working with young sommeliers.
